- Dense city traffic: lane discipline, bus-lane rules and right-of-way at unsignalled junctions come up constantly.
The theory test
Most states run a short multiple-choice paper on a computer terminal — commonly 10 questions with 6 correct needed to pass, in about 10 minutes. Some states set a longer paper, and several now allow the test to be taken from home after an Aadhaar-based identity check.
