What is worth knowing here
- Dense winter fog on the GT Road corridor — fog lamps, hazard-light rules and following distance are recurring themes.
- Heavy tractor and farm-vehicle traffic on rural roads: slow-moving vehicle rules come up.
The theory test
Most states run a short multiple-choice paper on a computer terminal — commonly 10 questions with 6 correct needed to pass, in about 10 minutes. Some states set a longer paper, and several now allow the test to be taken from home after an Aadhaar-based identity check.
